America's Next Top Model...
...is me! So, one of my girls is in a business class, and one of their projects was to design and put on a fashion show. She was one of the people in charge of finding models, and I was one she found. Are you trying to picture me walking down a runway? Difficult, and pretty hilarious, isn't it? Well, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had a good laugh or two trying to design outfits earlier this week (fall, athletic, winter, party, and rock), and I laughed inside as I walked down the runway, wondering how absolutely ridiculous I looked, but it wasn't that bad. This was way outside of the comfort zone for a girl who wears jeans or sweatpants and t-shirts on a daily basis, but Leslie and I had a good time. And...I definitely got 50% of already cheap clothes, so that was a nice plus! I left Value City with 4 bags of clothes (strange, I know), and spent $75 on 10 items of clothing! Isn't that incredible?!? 10 things for 75 dollars. This is so not like me. But who wouldn't take advantage of a sale when you need clothes (so maybe a couple things I just wanted, but I owned 1 pair of jeans before today, 1, so most of it was need). Anywho, that was my day. Maybe not quite America's Next Top Model, but it's a beginning...and an end. Sorry, no pictures.
